Sébastien, Project Manager for innovative solutions at Audensiel

Sébastien shares his experience with Audensiel and his passion to find innovative solutions.

Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

I am Sébastien, I have been a project manager at Audensiel for just over 2 years. Currently, I carry out my mission for a customer in telecoms sector.

If you had to write your job in 3 words, what would it be?

Today my job as a project manager guarantees 3 aspects: the result, the deadline and the cost.

What is your professional background?

So I started computer science as a developer. Then, I migrated to other IT professions such as systems and network administration. After my various missions in these professions, I wanted to refocus professionally and personally. Therefore, I took engineering studies to do project management. Once graduated, I started in project management PO (Product Owner). Then I made the choice to stop for two years to look after my children. I met the Audensiel teams after this personal break.

What project are you most proud of?

It was during my first assignment for Audensiel for a customer in the energy sector. Indeed, the latter asked me to find a digital solution answering a business problem. This solution is intended for audiences in the field with an allocated budget and a development time of one and a half years. The ambition of this project was interesting and I am proud to have contributed to it. I was able to develop a tool for field experts, which they can use every day for the management of gas networks. For this project, I was able to work with the IT department, project managers and gas maintenance experts.

What makes you get up in the morning?

It is the desire to face new problems. I like to find solutions.

What do you like about Audensiel?

Audensiel is able to offer great opportunities. Management is close to its teams by putting people at the heart of exchanges. Finally, Audensiel was able to take into account my professional desires. Therefore, I was able to choose my different missions according to my affinities.

What advice would you give to a new employee who wants to join Audensiel?

I invite him to listen to his desires and to give himself fully in his mission to flourish professionally.

What is your passion?

I am fascinated by astronomy. Since childhood, the mysteries of the sky have attracted me. I have been living my passion for observing stars, planets and galaxies since I bought my first telescope in 2016. I am always happy to share my passion with others. Astronomy is also a way to raise awareness about light pollution. Indeed, in the city, we do not have access to the same sky as in the countryside. As soon as we move away from this light of the cities, we can observe the stars and even the milky way.

If you were to take three objects to a desert island, what would you take?

A telescope would be interesting. You have to be able to see captivating objects on an island. I would also take a clock with a sextant. Even if the observation on the island must be exciting, it would be interesting to leave. As a result, I would need to locate myself in order to leave the island.

What’s the best part of your day?

It’s morning. I get up very early. It’s a quiet time when life wakes up. In addition, we have access to exciting elements in the sky at this time of the day.
