On November 21, the Bordeaux team from Audensiel had the pleasure of participating in Duoday, a national scheme that promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities in the professional world. This event, a real bridge between companies and talent, offers the opportunity to promote equal opportunities, deconstruct stereotypes and share moments of mutual enrichment.
Through this day of exchange, our team had the honor to welcome Roman in secretariat/accounting studies. Feedback on this human and professional experience with Aurélie, HR Manager of the Bordeaux agency and Roman, participating in Duoday.
What do you think of Duoday ?
Roman : I had a good experience. I was able to learn new professional skills during this day with the Audensiel teams.
Why is it important to participate in the Duoday as a company ?
Aurélie : This allows us to discover a profession, an environment and our company in an inclusive reflection.
Do you think disability is a barrier to employment ? How can this action change the way people view disability ?
Roman : It’s 2024 but disability discrimination is still a reality. Despite the progress and laws in force, not all companies feel affected.
Aurélie : Duoday is a real awareness and action to be aware of the needs and expectations of employees with disabilities. Finally, it can give the keys to integrate these employees in the best conditions.
What are the benefits of this experience for the Audensiel team ?
Aurélie : Duoday shed light on disability in business. Thus, our team was able to adopt a new approach to integrate employees with disabilities. This action leads to a real openness of mind.
How do you see the future of disability in business ?
Aurélie : Disability must no longer be a subject. Everything must be set up for more reflection and a more fluid and adapted integration in the company.
One last message ?
Roman : I encourage companies to pursue their disability engagement goals.
Audensiel’s participation in Duoday was a great illustration of our values of inclusion and solidarity. This day reinforced our conviction that diversity is a strength and allowed us to make concrete progress in our practices to better welcome and support employees with disabilities.
Thank you to our team in Bordeaux for their involvement in Duoday. Many thanks to Aurélie, our HR Manager and Roman, our committed Duoday participant, for their feedback.
