Manage data generated by the Internet of Things (IoT)

What is the Internet of Things?

The Internet of Things refers to all objects, cars, buildings or other elements connected to a physical Internet network. This allows them to communicate with each other and share data.

Today, it is therefore possible to navigate the net with its smartwatch. But IoT is also characterized by its ability to collect data.

Indeed, collecting this data is a real revolution and allows to analyze the behavior of users in real time. As a result, the customer experience can be improved more quickly.

The four pillars of an IoT solution

An IoT solution can be represented in a pyramidal way consisting of sensors (device), connectivity, data and value.

First, the sensors collect physical data. Second, connectivity is the means by which the data captured can be communicated over the Internet. It can be wifi, mobile network, bluetooth… The data represents the raw data that must be analyzed and stored. Finally, these raw data must be transformed so that they become valuable. This data must be understandable and usable.
